Ken Condon
With more than three decades of motorcycle riding experience, including road racing, touring, dirt riding, and commuting I have learned what it takes to become a skillful, confident rider.

During the past dozen years I have acted as a Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) instructor and as a track day instructor for Tony's Track Days, coaching all types of riders, ranging from raw beginners to accomplished veterans.

I’ve also been a part of the burgeoning motorcycle careers both of my wife Caroline and daughter Jeannine who are now both proficient riders.

I have been the author of the monthly Proficient Motorcycling and Street Strategies columns for Motorcycle Consumer News since 2003.

I also have a career as a graphic designer and illustrator. As a matter of fact the book is my design. I must give credit to Molly at Whitehorse Press whose design sensibilities helped the book evolve into something I am very proud of.

I also took the vast majority of the photographs, applied the photo effects and rendered the diagrams.

What a great opportunity to write, photograph, and design my own book! And the video! That was a whole other project. I had never been a screenwriter, nor had I ever been in front of a professional's camera. It was a great experience.

I hope you enjoy the outcome.
